Pick one idea, not every question

The guiding questions are prompts to choose from. Answering all of them briefly scores lower than answering one of them well.

What is scored

Depth, not coverage

Name a specific idea, say what it challenged or confirmed in your ministry, and tie it to a specific reading or lecture.

Length

200 words minimum

A reflection under 200 words will not be graded. Aim for 200 to 300.

The assignment

In 200-300 words, write a thoughtful reflection describing how the content of this section has shaped your faith, sense of calling, and ministry practice. Reflect deeply on how the Holy Spirit may be speaking to you through this learning process, moving beyond summarizing ideas to engaging in spiritual and practical discernment.

As you reflect, consider the following
  • What has the Holy Spirit been revealing or teaching you through this material?
  • How has this content contributed to your understanding of ministry?
  • What next steps will you take as a result of this learning?
What we are looking for

Rather than restating key points, focus on how this learning is transforming your heart, mind, and actions. Integrate course concepts with personal experience, showing how theology is being translated into faithful practice. Your reflection should be personal, clear, and well-structured, demonstrating spiritual growth, practical application, and growing ministerial discernment.

Reference the course content, including at least one concept or principle discussed in this section.

A reflection under 200 words will not be graded.
